downhere Nominated for 2nd Juno Award
Yesterday afternoon it was announced that downhere has been nominated for our second Juno Award for our most recent release, "Wide-Eyed and Mystified". The Junos are the Canadian equivalent to the Grammy Awards here in America, so this is a pretty big deal. The category is Contemporary Christian/Gospel Album of the Year, and we are joined by fellow artists Carolyn Arends, Hawk Nelson, Starfield, and Manafest. This is the third time we've been nominated in this category (we won back in 2002 with our self-titled debut) - but this could be the strongest line-up of artists I've ever seen for this category. Regardless of who wins, I'd say the Christian music industry in Canada is well-represented. It's exciting to see! The awards will take place April 1st in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan and will be broadcast nationally (in Canada) on CTV. Should be a fun weekend!

Hope you win the award.....this album has strong staying power in playlist....months and months and I am still listening to this one.
