"Spirit of the Marathon" in Theaters Thursday
For those of you who are runners or are considering becoming a runner/marathoner, here is a movie that would be a great one to see/support: "Spirit of the Marathon". It will be showing across North America this Thursday night at 7:30pm. Here's a brief description of the movie from the website:
"Spirit of the Marathon is the first ever non-fiction feature film to capture the drama and essence of the famed 26.2 mile running event. Filmed on four continents, the movie brings together a diverse cast of amateur athletes and marathon luminaries.
As six unique stories unfold, each runner prepares for and ultimately faces the challenge of the Chicago Marathon. More than a sports movie, Spirit of the Marathon is an inspirational journey of perseverance and personal triumph; a spectacle that will be embraced by runners and non-runners alike."
I will be going to the 7:30pm show in Nashville at Opry Mills along with some other Rockstar Runners. Hey Jeremy, was googling this movie & came across your post. Hope you enjoyed it -- I loved it! As a marathoner, I could totally relate to everyone's experience.
