Thanks for the suggestions, Kat! I actually normally do both of your suggestions, believe it or not. I guess I just didn't figure I'd been online long enough for it to time out that particular morning... Why does it take me so long to learn these lessons?!? :)

I HATE when that happens.
Here are two things I've done to keep that from happening anymore:
1. I use ECTO, a desktop blogging program that syncs with my online blog. This way I always have a local copy before I hit publish.
2. And because I'm paranoid about losing long posts or comments, anytime I write something, I SELECT ALL (Command/control A) and then COPY (command/control C) it. That way, if anything goes awry, I can just PASTE (command/control V) it and all is well.

Ohhhh! That happened to me back when Google took over Blogger and they were converting systems. I was SO put out as well that I didn't blog for weeks!
